Lawrence kofi Acheampong
Dr. (Med.) Lawrence kofi Acheampong is a distinguished Forensic Medical Security Intelligence Expert. Through extensive research, international keynote speaking engagements, authorship and publications, Dr. Acheampong has established himself as a leading voice in forensic medicine and intelligence, particularly in correctional forensics within Secured, Detained and Custody (SDC) Centers with a Membership from the Faculty of Forensic and Legal Medicine( MFFLM) of the Royal College of Physicians (MFFLM-UK).
Ahmed Y. Hersi
Ahmed Hersi is a seasoned Policy Advisor with deep expertise in peacebuilding, governance, and regional security across Africa. He served as IGAD’s Representative and Senior Political Advisor in South Sudan, contributing to mediation efforts under the IGAD-AU-UN trilateral mechanisms.
Now holds the role of Senior Researcher for the Africa Region at the Institute of Strategic Insights & Research, and led engagements with regional blocs including EAC, COMESA, IOC, and SADC. His work also extended to international maritime security through IGAD, covering Eastern, Southern Africa, and the Indian Ocean Region (ESA-IO).
John Logan Micock
John Logan Micock, is a seasoned professional Consultant in the Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, the Construction Industry, Construction and Project Management with 33 years’ experience spanning globally, of which 20 years are in Africa. Experienced in multinational and both the public and private sectors.
John has several projects to his name. In the Seychelles Islands, he was the Planner who orchestrated the design and implementation of the new 311 hectares Master Development Plan East Coast Phase 1, land reclamation from the sea for new development.
In Canada, he worked, on complexed projects such as hospitals, International Airport, Mix Used Commercial Developments, shopping malls, office towers, public schools, casino and residential development.
Muhammad Saley
Muhammad is a practising barrister in England and Wales and a public sector consultant in Seychelles, providing policy, governance and strategic advisory services to government and other public bodies.
Muhammad has extensive legal, policy and governance experience, and has built up a reputation for being a highly trusted adviser to clients. He prides himself on his ability to give risk-based and solutions-oriented advice, which allows clients to take robust decisions that are insulated against serious challenge.
He is also a highly skilled trainer and an experienced and highly effective board member, having previously held roles on the boards of the Financial Services Authority Seychelles and SEYPEC.

Captain Sam Gontier
His extensive experience encompasses multiple global deployments, including missions in Iraq, Bosnia, Rwanda, Sierra Leone.
Kosovo, and Afghanistan.
Most recently as Director of the RCOC. He led a team of international liason officers from RCOC member states in coordinating joint operations against Narcotics trafficking/Piracy/UU fishing and other illicit actions at sea. Captain Gontier was the 1st person outside of EUNAVFOR Atlanta to receive the Atalanta medal, a testament to the work he has done for the Region.
